Cement and Mining
Cement is defined as hydraulic binders obtained by adding gypsum or additives to clinker. Clinker is obtained by mixing raw materials such as limestone, clay, marl and iron ore containing silicone, calcium, aluminum and iron oxides at certain rates and cooking them up to a certain sintering temperature.
Preparing Raw Materials
Different raw materials obtained from furnaces are sent to stock silos following homogenization process after breaking, premixing and milling processes.
Clinker Manufacturing
Raw meal in stock silos is sent to rotary furnaces through elevators for sinterization process and Clinker is obtained at the end. Clinkers (semi-finished) manufactured are sent to stock silos.
Cement Grinding
Depending on cement types, Clinker, limestone and various additives are grinded together and sent to the cement stock silos.
Packaging / Loading / Unloading
Cements in stock silos are sent to the packaging units and prepared and loaded as bagged cement, bulk cement or bigbag.
Mining Companies
Mining and ore mining companies must work continuously with quarries and heavy and variable loads especially including marble, which all have economic value. Therefore, these companies need drive systems that may serve for 7/24 from machines used in processing output products to transfer systems used in transfers. Kratos Controls Inc. using high quality NRW gearboxes and WAT electric motors addresses all needs of cement and mining companies with its rigid-body gear unit groups with wide reduction ratios and moment values up to 800000 Nm.
